We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Enrolled Nurse (Division 2 – Victoria) to join our team in a dynamic rotational role across Preadmissions, Stage 2 Recovery, and Reception.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a broad skill set across both clinical and administrative functions while working in a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preadmissions
- Conduct preadmission assessments (face-to-face)
- Review patient medical histories and ensure all required documentation is complete and received prior to admission
- Provide pre-procedure and discharge education, ensuring patients understand instructions and expectations
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, doctors, and clinical teams
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and clinical standards
Stage 2 Recovery
- Monitor and support patients during Stage 2 recovery, ensuring a safe transition toward discharge
- Perform clinical assessments and determine readiness for discharge in line with established protocols
- Deliver transparent and comprehensive discharge education to patients and carers
- Recognise and promptly escalation any clinical concerns to the RN or medical team
Reception
- Deliver a professional and patient-focused first point of contact for all enquiries and arrivals
- Manage bookings, admissions, and administrative workflows with accuracy and attention to detail
- Processing patient check-ins and payments
- Ensure patient records and documentation are complete, accurate, and up to date
- Liaise effectively with clinical teams and external stakeholders to support efficient patient flow
- Responding to general enquiries professionally and confidentially
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2 – Victoria)
- Experience in acute care, day surgery, admissions, or recovery (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work across both clinical and administrative settings
- A flexible, team-oriented approach
- Confidence using clinical and administrative systems
