Our Place Salon is seeking talented and passionate Hairstylists, Cutting Specialists, Hair Colourists, Assistants and Apprentices to join our dynamic team in Potts Point, NSW. Key responsibilities

- Providing professional hair styling, cutting, and colouring services to clients in line with industry best practices and salon standards
- Consulting with clients to understand their desired look, hair type, and lifestyle needs, offering expert recommendations
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and repeat business
- Assisting senior stylists and colourists with colour mixing, product application, and client preparation (for assistants and apprentices)
- Keeping up to date with current hair trends, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings
- Supporting the smooth running of the salon through effective communication and teamwork
- For apprentices,



completing formal training requirements and gaining hands‑on experience under the guidance of experienced professionals

What we're looking for

- Relevant qualifications or certifications in hairdressing, hair colouring, or beauty services (or completion of apprenticeship for apprentice-level positions)
- Proven experience in hair styling and/or colouring (experience levels vary depending on the role - assistants and apprentices may be early in their careers)
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in a range of cutting, styling, and colouring techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to listen to client needs and deliver results that exceed expectations
- A passion for the hair and beauty industry and commitment to continuous professional development
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst also managing your own client base
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and salon presentation
- Flexibility and reliability, with a professional approach to timekeeping and attendance
- For apprentices, enthusiasm to learn, willingness to take direction, and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in hairdressing
