H & R Deluxe Stairs is a proudly Australian stair manufacturing and installation business known for quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on, and motivated Storeman / Front of House Operator to join our team. This is a varied role offering a mix of warehouse operations, customer service, deliveries, and on-site support.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and goods receiving (goods inwards)
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Stock control and inventory management
- Picking and packing orders
- Deliveries to customer sites and collection of materials from suppliers
- Front of house duties and customer interaction
- Operating CNC machinery (training provided for the right candidate)
- Manual handling and general warehouse duties
- Assisting installation teams on-site when required
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Skills & Experience
- Experience in dispatch and goods receiving
- Ability to load and unload trucks safely
- Solid stock control and warehouse management skills
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Current driver's licence
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CNC machine experience or a willingness to learn
- Welding experience
- Experience working on installation sites
- General fabrication or manufacturing background
