The La Trobe Student Association (LTSA) is an independent, student-led organisation providing advocacy, representation, food relief and student engagement services across La Trobe University's metropolitan and regional campuses. As LTSA enters an exciting period of growth, we're seeking an exceptional leader to guide the organisation into its next chapter.

The Opportunity

As General Manager, you will provide strategic, operational and financial leadership across the organisation while working closely with the Governing Board, Operations Manager, elected student representatives, staff and key university stakeholders.

This unique role combines governance, strategy, stakeholder engagement, people leadership and organisational growth, ensuring LTSA continues to deliver outstanding outcomes for students.

About You

You are an experienced and values-driven leader with:

Senior leadership experience as a CEO, General Manager or Executive Leader

Strong governance, financial management and risk management skills





Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building ability

Experience working with boards or governance structures

Excellent communication and leadership capability

A team-oriented and people-focused leadership style

Experience in higher education, not-for-profit, community or member-based organisations will be highly regarded.
