We are partnering with a leading Data & AI Consulting organisation to hire an experienced Databricks Solution Architect for a permanent opportunity based in Sydney, Australia .

Location: Sydney, Australia (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead enterprise-scale Data & AI solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
- Architect scalable cloud data platforms across AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
- Lead end-to-end Databricks implementations from discovery through production.
- Build modern data pipelines using Apache Spark, Delta Lake and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Drive platform performance, scalability, governance and security.
- Lead architecture workshops and engage with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Mentor engineering teams and establish architecture best practices.
Experience: 10+ years in Data Engineering / Data Platforms / Analytics
Preferred
- Databricks Data Engineer Skilled Certification
- Additional AWS, Azure or GCP certifications
