We are seeking a social volunteer to spend time with a gentleman who enjoys audio books, good conversation, country life, sailing, Australian history and walks to get a coffee. He has a small friendly dog who loves joining in.

Each visit is simply about sharing company, fresh air and compelling chats for around an hour a week.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Requirements

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for an hour visit between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
