We are seeking a local to visit a lovely elderly female client living in Somersby, who values meaningful connection, calm conversation, and shared time in peaceful environments.

She enjoys gentle outings and relaxed activities that centre around nature, reading, animals, and quiet moments together.

What the visits may include:

- Visiting her home in Somersby for friendly companionship and conversation

- Gentle walks around the property, garden, or nearby nature areas

- Visiting local nurseries, quiet parks, or botanical spaces

- Talking about or observing plants, animals, and the natural world

- Reading together, sharing books, or discussing stories

- Enjoying a relaxed coffee at a local café

- Going for scenic drives, including coastal or bushland views

Visits are weekly or fortnightly, offering unrushed, one‑on‑one time focused on presence, companionship, and shared interests.

This community aged care role is ideal for someone who enjoys slowing down, appreciates nature and gentle conversation, and values creating a calm, supportive connection.

Requirements

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •

One hour visits for 6 months or longer. We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time Between Monday to Sunday 9am to 5pm for an hour or so visit.
