About the Role

/n

As Operations Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our daily logistics, coordinating freight movements, supporting drivers, managing compliance, and delivering outstanding service to our customers. You'll also play a key role in sourcing and remunerating contractors, quoting daily jobs, and ensuring our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries with a focus on safety, timeliness, and customer satisfaction

/n

- Manage routing and scheduling to optimise fleet and contractor utilisation

/n

- Source, onboard, and remunerate contractors in line with operational needs

/n

- Quote daily jobs accurately and promptly for new and existing customers

/n

- Monitor fleet compliance, servicing schedules, and maintenance requirements

/n





- Provide exceptional service and support to clients, suppliers, and drivers

/n

- Assist with general administration and operational support

/n

- Build strong working relationships across the team and with external partners

/n

- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, fatigue management, and safety standards

/n

- Contribute to continuous improvement in logistics systems and processes

/n/n

What We're Looking For

/n

/n

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar transport operations role

/n

- Proven experience in contractor sourcing and remuneration

/n

- Robust quoting and customer service skills

/n

- Solid administration and problem-solving ability

/n

- Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements

/n

- Experience with open trailer and specialised freight (essential)

/n

- Forklift licence (desirable)

/n

- Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under pressure
