Ozone Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Restoration Technician(s) - or someone with relevant cleaning or trade experience looking to upskill - to join our growing team based in Earlville, QLD.

/n

This is a casual position with the potential to progress to full-time employment. The role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of restoration projects in a fast-paced, specialised and rewarding setting.

/n

Due to continued growth and increasing workload, we are expanding our team.

/n

Applicants currently working in the cleaning, construction or trades and services industries who are interested in transitioning into specialised restoration work are encouraged to apply. Hands-on training and professional development will be provided to the right candidate.

/n

What you'll be doing

/n

/n

- Responding to and resolving emergency restoration calls, including water, fire and mould and other property damage

/n

- Assessing affected areas and assisting with the development of appropriate restoration solutions

/n

- Performing hands-on restoration work, including water extraction, structural drying, cleaning, sanitising and decontamination

/n

- Safely operating specialised restoration equipment and tools

/n

- Taking moisture readings and monitoring the progress of drying works

/n

- Communicating professionally with clients and keeping them informed throughout the restoration process

/n

- Maintaining accurate job records, moisture readings, photographs and documentation

/n





- Adhering to workplace health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

/n

- Travelling to residential, commercial and remote project locations as required

/n/n

What we're looking for

/n

/n

- Previous experience as a Restoration Technician or in a similar cleaning role within the trades and services industry

/n

- Strong practical and technical skills

/n

- The ability to operate a variety of restoration equipment and tools

/n

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

/n

- A strong customer-service focus and professional communication skills

/n

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

/n

- A flexible and adaptable approach to work

/n

- Availability to undertake occasional remote travel

/n

- A current driver's licence

/n

- Reliable transport to and from our Earlville premises

/n

- A Construction White Card, or willingness to obtain one

/n

- Working with Children Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one

/n

- The ability to successfully complete a police check

/n

- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn

/n/n

- Applicants must already reside in the Cairns region and be available for ongoing, reliable employment.

- We are seeking applicants who are available for ongoing, long-term employment

/n

- This position is not suitable for applicants seeking short-term employment or applicants wishing to meet the 88-day specified work requirement for a Working Holiday visa.
