Personal Care / Support Workers, Aged and Disability

Due to a continually expanding client base, we are searching for suitable Home Care Support Workers with availability on weekday mornings.

Key Responsibilities :

/n

/n

- We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients' needs. Duties may include but not limited to:

/n

- Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine,



compassionate and personalised

/n

- Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship

/n

- Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)

/n

- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.

/n

- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

/n/n

Skills and Experience :

/n

/n

- Current experience in community care/ home care/ Support Work/AIN or working with clients with complex physical needs.

/n

- A reliable vehicle and current Australian drivers licence, and are willing to travel to client homes in the region.

/n

- Good communication skills and be courteous and responsive when we contact you.

/n

- You will be flexible and available to commence work at 7am or 8am.

/n

- You are a self led leader with the ability to take responsibility for your own behaviour & success, however you are also coachable to doing things the 'Nurse Next Door' way.

/n

- You must be able speak and write in English, however other languages will also be an asset!

Mandatory Requirements

/n

/n

- ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card

/n

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion

/n

- NDIS Workers Screener Clearance

/n

- Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience

/n

- Current working rights in Australia

/n

- You must be Passionate about Making a Difference! (Essential Criteria)
