The Role
We are looking for a reliable, organised & proactive Administration / Customer Service Coordinator to join a busy branch in South East Victoria.
The role will start on a casual basis, with the opportunity to move into permanent employment following a successful probationary period.
This is a great opportunity for an office all-rounder with a go-getter attitude who wants to get involved, learn the business & take on more responsibility as they prove themselves.
Your Day-to-Day
- Answer incoming calls & provide friendly customer service
- Meet & greet customers, building strong client relationships
- Respond to emails & general customer enquiries
- Enter & maintain customer information in the ERP system
- Enter Sales Orders & Service Orders
- Record daily staff labour hours against jobs
- Assist with timesheets & payroll administration
- Prepare invoices & general office documentation
- Maintain filing, records & spreadsheets
- Assist with stocktakes & stock administration
- Work closely with the Stores/Warehouse team when required
- Assist with mail, deliveries, stationery & general office coordination
- Keep the office organised, professional & tidy
- Provide general administrative support to Management & the Sales team
- Relieve other administration functions during leave periods
- Take on additional responsibilities as your knowledge & experience grows
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Organised & reliable, with good attention to detail
- Confident dealing with customers by phone, email & face-to-face
- A clear & professional communicator
- Comfortable working across multiple tasks & priorities
- Computer literate with good spreadsheet & office skills
- A quick learner who is comfortable learning new systems
- Proactive & willing to help wherever needed
- Someone who takes pride in keeping an office running smoothly
- Comfortable working in a predominantly male workshop/warehouse workplace
- A genuine go-getter who wants to develop & take on more responsibility
Systems Experience
Experience with Infor or a similar ERP/business management system would be highly regarded.
You'll use the system to manage customer details, Sales & Service Orders, job information, staff hours, stock movements & general branch administration.
You don't need to know the system already. What's important is that you're computer literate, confident learning new software & willing to get stuck in.
Opportunity to Grow
Initially, the focus will be on the core administration & customer service functions of the role.
As you become familiar with the business & demonstrate your ability, additional responsibilities will be introduced, providing the opportunity to become an important part of the day-to-day operation of the branch.
