Kogan People Solutions are working with a well-regarded smash repair shop in Truganina Vic. To enhance customer service levels, they are seeking a full-time skilled and experienced Panel Beater to undertake vehicle structural repairs and bodywork restoration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carrying out structural and non-structural vehicle body repairs.
2. Assessing vehicle damage and determining appropriate repair methods.
3. Realigning vehicle frames and chassis using hydraulic and electronic measuring systems.
4. Repairing, replacing and aligning damaged body panels and components.
5. Performing MIG, TIG and spot welding as required for panel replacement and structural repairs.
6. Preparing repaired surfaces for refinishing, including filling, grinding and sanding.
7. Reassembling repaired vehicles and ensuring panels, doors, bonnets and boot lids are correctly aligned and fitted.
To be considered we expect to see
1.
Cert III (including at least two years of on-the-job training)/ or a Cert IV in a relevant course of study, or agreed equivalent
2. At least 1 year of relevant work experience after completing your trade qualification. More experience is preferred.
3. Experience with frame realignment equipment, electronic measuring systems, and vehicle body welding.
4. Good work references
5. A valid driver’s licence.
