Goulburn
- Goulburn is a regional city located in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, positioned approximately 195 kilometres southwest of Sydney and about 90 kilometres northeast of Canberra.
A long-serving GP at the clinic will soon be relocating, and the team is now seeking a new doctor to take over their well-established patient base.
The practice is known for providing a welcoming, patient-focused environment designed to put individuals at ease while offering high-quality care. This same supportive culture extends to the clinical team.
Feedback from previous and current GPs frequently highlights the practice's flexibility, supportive atmosphere, and team-oriented approach.
Comprehensive support is available onsite, including a practice nurse, pathology services, and allied health professionals such as a psychologist and dietitian. Additional services include audiometry, sleep studies, INR testing, ECG, spirometry, and robust care planning systems—ensuring both doctors and patients are well-supported.
The successful doctor will have access to a comprehensive range of services, including:
- On-site Pathology
- Radiology Services – Daily reporting by radiologists at both locations, including access to private and hospital X-ray facilities (open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm).
- Proximity to Goulburn Base Hospital – Located just across the road,
staffed by two specialist physicians, two surgeons, one paediatrician, and one obstetrician.
- Visiting Specialists – Regular clinics run by an endocrinologist, cardiologist, ENT specialist, orthopaedic surgeon, and urologist.
- St John of God Hospital – A fully accredited rehabilitation and palliative care facility located just two blocks from the surgery.
- On-site Allied Health Support – Including psychologist, dietitian, audiometry services, and sleep studies.
The practice is well-supported by emergency services. While the standard ambulance transfer time to Goulburn Base Hospital is approximately 30 minutes, urgent cases are prioritised and transferred in under 5 minutes.
Participation in weekday after-hours work is not required, although doctors may opt in if they wish.
