About the role:
We are seeking experienced Data Engineers for upcoming opportunities across the IT sector.
If you're passionate about building up-to-date data platforms, developing scalable ETL solutions and transforming data into meaningful business insights, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable Azure-based data platforms and data warehouse solutions.
- Build, optimise and support ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other modern integration tools.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to deliver actionable business insights.
- Design and implement robust data models while ensuring data quality, security and governance.
- Support enterprise data migration, automation and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise data pipelines to improve performance, reliability and scalability.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience as a Data Engineer, Data Warehouse Engineer or similar role.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL and Microsoft Fabric.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience developing and optimising ETL processes.
- Experience building and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with modern data platforms including Azure Databricks and Snowflake.
- Exposure to Microsoft Purview and data governance frameworks.
- Experience with modern data architecture patterns including data lakes and data warehouses.
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
