Secondary Teacher (PDHPE/Primary) - Hobart, TAS 7000
Teach across both primary and secondary settings in a role that brings variety to your week and continuity to students' learning journeys. This permanent position combines Secondary PDHPE/Sports teaching (3 days) with Primary classroom teaching (2 days), providing the opportunity to work across multiple year levels and curriculum areas.
About the Role
You will deliver engaging PDHPE and Sports programs to secondary students while also supporting learning outcomes within the primary setting. Working within a small campus environment, you'll have the opportunity to know students well and contribute meaningfully to their academic, physical and personal development.
Applicants interested in a 0.6 FTE Secondary PDHPE/Sports-only position (3 days per week) are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Secondary PDHPE and Sports programs across allocated year levels
- Deliver engaging and structured Primary classroom learning experiences
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop lesson plans and learning resources aligned to curriculum requirements
- Foster student participation, wellbeing and achievement
- Maintain accurate records and reporting processes
