Secondary HSIE Teacher - Tamworth, NSW 2340

Teach across a broad Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum while helping students build the knowledge, analytical skills and subject foundations required for success in senior secondary studies. Multiple full-time positions are available, including a contract opportunity commencing Term 4, 2026 and an ongoing position from Term 1, 2027.

Role Overview

Teaching across Years 7-12, you will deliver engaging HSIE programs in areas including Geography, Modern History, Economics and Business Studies. Through structured lesson delivery, curriculum-aligned assessment and targeted feedback, you will contribute directly to student achievement and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach HSIE subjects across Years 7-12

- Plan, deliver and evaluate syllabus-aligned learning programs

- Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback

- Contribute to faculty planning and curriculum development

- Maintain accurate assessment, reporting and compliance records

- Participate in co-curricular activities and student supervision
