Kaizen Recruitment is partnering with a well-established family office to appoint an Investment Analyst to support the continued growth of its unlisted investment portfolio.

Working alongside an experienced Head of Investments, you will gain hands-on exposure to investment opportunities across private credit, private equity, infrastructure, property and venture capital. This is a unique opportunity to broaden your investment skill set while working within a collaborative, high-performing investment team.

The Opportunity
This is a broad investment role offering exposure across the full investment lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:

- Assessing new investment opportunities across a diversified private markets portfolio.
- Financial modelling, valuation and commercial analysis.
- Conducting investment research, market analysis and due diligence.
- Preparing investment papers and recommendations for senior stakeholders, the Investment Committee and the Board.
- Monitoring existing investments and portfolio performance.
- Supporting portfolio construction and strategic investment initiatives.
- Working closely with experienced investment professionals on transactions from origination through to execution and ongoing portfolio management.

This role provides genuine breadth, allowing you to develop as an investor while gaining exposure across multiple asset classes rather than specialising in a single sector.

About You
You are an intellectually curious investment professional looking to take the next step in your career within a sophisticated private investment environment.
You will likely have 3–5 years' experience as an Investment Analyst or in a comparable role within Investment Banking (M&A;), Corporate Strategy, Corporate Advisory, Management Consulting or Funds Management.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:





- Solid analytical capability with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, supported by strong quantitative capability.
- Experience assessing investment or transaction opportunities and undertaking commercial analysis.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight timeframes.
- A collaborative approach, while also being comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of your work.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis clearly and concisely.
- A genuine interest in investments, private markets and financial markets.
- A degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics or a related discipline. CFA studies or postgraduate qualifications will be viewed favourably.
