An opportunity is available for an experienced SME / Commercial Account Manager to join a growing specialist insurance brokerage in Brisbane.

This is a client-focused role for someone who enjoys managing relationships, providing quality insurance advice and taking ownership of a commercial portfolio. You’ll work closely with clients and insurers across a broad range of commercial risks, with the support of an experienced and collaborative team.

The Role

- Manage and develop a portfolio of SME and commercial clients
- Handle renewals, recent business and mid-term adjustments
- Build strong, long-term client relationships
- Assess client risks and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Negotiate with insurers and underwriters to achieve competitive outcomes
- Prepare quotations, policy documentation and renewal presentations
- Assist clients with claims and policy queries
- Identify opportunities to grow and retain the portfolio
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance requirements are met

About You
We’re looking for an experienced insurance skilled with:





- Previous experience in an SME or Commercial Account Manager / Account Executive position
- Strong knowledge across commercial insurance products
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Confidence dealing directly with insurers and underwriters
- Strong understanding of the renewal and new business process
- A proactive, commercially minded approach
- The ability to manage a portfolio autonomously
- Tier 1 insurance qualification or equivalent
