Senior Civil Engineer - Land Development & Urban Renewal

This is subdivision and urban renewal design within a structured engineering consultancy - where your judgement, not bureaucracy, drives delivery.

We are representing a well-established consultancy with a consistent Northern Territory pipeline across residential subdivisions, mixed-use developments and urban renewal precincts.

Responsibilities:

- Leading civil design across land development and infill renewal projects
- Managing roads, drainage, stormwater, earthworks and servicing strategies
- Coordinating approvals with local authorities and key stakeholders
- Working closely with 12D designers and junior engineers to deliver high-quality documentation
- Owning projects from concept through detailed design and approval

Looking For:

- 5-10+ years’ experience in civil engineering within a design consultancy
- Strong land development background (greenfield subdivisions and/or urban renewal)
- Experience delivering civil documentation aligned with Australian standards
- Confidence across drainage, roads, earthworks and servicing design
- Experience working with 12D designers and multidisciplinary teams
- Stable consultancy-based career history

Not Suited To:

- Engineers working primarily in large-scale transport, rail or highway infrastructure
- Construction contractor or site-supervision-based roles
- Developer-side project management without detailed design responsibility
