IsAlbi is an Australian homewares, kitchenware, gifting and toys business, part of the Marlin Brands portfolio. Our products reach thousands of retail partners across Australia and New Zealand, and our Truganina distribution centre is the engine room that gets them there. We are investing in our distribution operation, and we have several Team Leader positions on offer across the site. This is a genuine opportunity to shape how the floor runs.

About the role

Reporting to the DC Operations Manager, the Team Leader runs one channel of the distribution centre: inbound, outbound or production. You will coordinate your team across functions, hold quality and safety on the floor, and keep your area hitting its daily throughput. Team sizes vary by channel.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be on the floor with your team, comfortable jumping in wherever the operation needs you, and setting the pace through a proactive, get it done approach.

What you will do

- Take responsibility for a warehouse area and its daily output.
- Coordinate and direct storeworkers, allocating people across pick, pack, dispatch, rework and returns, and assembly support where trained.
- Hold work health and safety on the floor and act as first response to floor issues.
- Provide on job training and induction for your team.
- Maintain inventory and control registers and reconcile stock movement and dispatch reports.




- Liaise with the Operations Manager, suppliers and internal customers on stores operations.
- Flex into any floor function as demand requires, including licensed MHE tasks, picking, packing, dispatch and production.

What you will bring

- Demonstrated leading hand or supervisory capability in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- An appropriate warehousing certificate.
- Materials handling equipment (MHE) and warehouse management system (WMS) competence.
- A practical, safety first approach and the ability to keep a team focused and productive.
- Multi skilling is a requirement of this role, not an option. You will be competent across the floor and able to direct and cover any function as demand shifts.
- A forklift and high reach (hi lo) licence (desirable)

The details

- 8 hour shifts within warehouse operating hours of approximately 5.30am to 5pm, with some flexibility to work beyond 5pm at busier times.
- Start times vary between 5.30am and 9am depending on the shift.
