Ramsay Health Care is seeking an experienced and commercially astute State Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial leadership across the Western Australian hospital network. Based in WA, you will partner closely with the WA State Manager, Hospital CEOs, Executive teams and Directors of Finance, with a particular focus on Hollywood Private Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus. This is a strategic yet hands-on role, providing commercial insight while working closely with hospital teams to identify opportunities, develop action plans and deliver strong financial and operational outcomes. You will also contribute to national finance initiatives and broader portfolio priorities, providing expertise across workforce, productivity, procurement, revenue, growth and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

As a key finance partner to WA Operations, you will work closely with senior leaders to turn financial insight into practical business outcomes. You will combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, helping hospital leaders identify opportunities, address performance challenges and deliver sustainable improvements across the network.

- Partner with the WA State Manager and Hospital Executive teams to drive financial performance, operational accountability and sustainable outcomes.
- Provide strategic financial insight and commercial challenge across hospital performance, service planning, growth and resource allocation.
- Support Hollywood Private Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus to identify and deliver opportunities across revenue, workforce, productivity and cost management.
- Analyse financial and operational performance and translate insights into clear action plans and measurable outcomes.
- Develop and assess business cases for growth, capital investment,

service development and operational improvement.
- Support Directors of Finance with performance management, forecasting, remediation plans and periods of increased operational demand or vacancy.
- Work closely with operational teams to understand issues and help implement practical solutions - not simply identify problems through reporting.
- Support finance transformation, process improvement and broader corporate initiatives across Ramsay.
- Contribute to national projects and provide finance subject matter expertise across the wider organisation.

What You’ll Need

To succeed in this role, you will be a commercially minded finance leader who combines strong technical capability with genuine operational and strategic business partnering skills. You will be confident engaging with senior executives, comfortable challenging constructively and able to move between high-level strategy and the detail required to deliver outcomes.

You will bring:

- CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent qualification.
- Senior finance leadership or business partnering experience in a complex organisation.
- Strong hospital or healthcare finance experience, ideally complemented by broader corporate or commercial finance exposure.
- Experience partnering with senior executives and operational leaders to improve business performance.
- Strong commercial acumen across financial performance, workforce, productivity, revenue, procurement and growth.

- Experience developing business cases, financial models and investment recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement performance improvement action plans.
- Strong change management and stakeholder influencing capability.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business decisions.
