Contact Centre Operator - Supporter Engagement

We're looking for a warm, organised, and confident communicator to join our Marketing and Fundraising team. This role combines supporter engagement, administration and office support, offering the opportunity to contribute to work that makes a difference.

This is an exciting part-time role within our contact centre, 19 hours a week on a 12-month contract, based at our Sunshine Coast head office. You'll have flexibility to fit those hours across standard business days.

About Destiny Rescue

Destiny Rescue is a Christian-based, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing children from human trafficking and sexual exploitation and equipping them to stay free. Our teams work across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, delivering rescue and reintegration programs that help vulnerable children move towards safety, freedom and a better future. Our Sunshine Coast office supports this work globally, bringing together teams across fundraising, partnerships, operations and support to help grow our impact.

About the Role

You will be a key point of contact for our supporters, building genuine relationships, providing excellent supporter care and helping them stay connected to the impact of their giving.

Your role will focus on:

- Manage inbound and outbound supporter calls, including thank-you calls, stewardship conversations and fundraising appeals.
- Build genuine, ongoing relationships with supporters and help them stay connected to the impact of their giving.
- Maintain accurate supporter records and campaign data in Salesforce CRM.
- Support fundraising appeals and campaigns to help achieve their goals.
- Assist with general office administration, including mail, supplies, and day-to-day office support.

- Contribute to a supportive, positive team environment where everyone works together towards a shared purpose.

About You

You enjoy talking with people, you're naturally organised, and you take initiative rather than waiting to be asked. Most importantly, you want your work to have purpose and you're motivated by making a genuine difference.

You'll bring:

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a supporter-first approach that helps people feel valued and connected to the impact of their giving.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow things through.
- A high level of attention to detail and confidence managing data accurately.
- Experience in customer service, supporter care, fundraising or a similar relationship-focused role.
- Confidence using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
- Strong phone communication skills and confidence making a fundraising ask.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine willingness to contribute to a supportive team.

What We Offer

- A supportive, encouraging, and values-driven team working towards a meaningful shared mission.
- Adaptable part-time hours within standard business hours, giving you flexibility in how you structure your working week.
- Salary packaging of up to $18,550 tax-free to maximise your take-home pay.

- Annual leave loading in accordance with the applicable award.
- Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- The opportunity to use your skills to make a genuine difference for vulnerable children around the world.

How To Apply

If you're ready to make a lasting impact and help grow our mission, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your cover letter (maximum two pages) outlining your suitability for the role, along with your resume/CV, via "Apply For This Job."

Alternatively, for an initial discussion, please contact our team at ******@destinyrescue.org.
