About the Role
Join our inclusive team as a Trainer Assessor, committed to delivering enriching learning experiences for current and aspiring professionals in the Pathology Collection sector. Reporting to the Lead Trainer Assessor - Pathology Collection, this fulltime role involves:
- Delivering training centre-based training.
- Supporting students in developing technical pathology collection skills, including venous blood and other specimen collection, specimen collection for drugs of abuse, first aid and more.
- Ensuring compliance with industry and national standards, and client requirements.
- Providing timely assessment and feedback to ensure student progression.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with student and clients to support positive training outcomes.
Experience and Qualifications
- Certificate III in Pathology Collection (or higher) OR significant Pathology Collection industry experience
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or TAE40110) or higher level qualification in Adult Education*. Qualified Secondary School Teachers are encouraged to apply (additional training may be required).
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle for workplace visits
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and high attention to detail
- Previous training or teaching experience (highly regarded)
- Hold, or can obtain, a valid Police Check and Working with Children Check
*Please note: Trainer Assessors must be qualified to ensure quality education and compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2025.
