About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a highly respected specialist architectural roofing and cladding contractor to recruit experienced Metal Cladding Installers for a growing pipeline of high-end commercial, architectural, heritage and bespoke projects across Sydney.
This is an opportunity to work on some of the more technically challenging and architecturally significant roofing and cladding projects in Australia.
The successful candidates will have strong hands-on experience installing architectural metal cladding systems, with preference given to installers with proven experience working with Zinc, Copper, Aluminium, Brass, Stainless Steel and Titanium Zinc
These are not standard roofing or commodity cladding projects. The work involves detailed architectural finishes, bespoke metalwork, complex geometries and high-quality installation where precision, craftsmanship and attention to detail are critical.

You will be working across a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects throughout Sydney, including:

- High-end commercial and architectural developments
- Major government and institutional projects
- Heritage buildings and restoration projects
- Museums and cultural facilities
- Universities and educational facilities
- Hotels and hospitality developments
- Luxury residential and architecturally designed homes
- Complex roof and façade packages
- Bespoke architectural metalwork
- Specialist roofing and wall-cladding systems

The work is highly varied, with many projects requiring installers to work from detailed architectural and fabrication drawings and install components manufactured specifically for individual buildings.

About the Role
As an Architectural Metal Cladding Installer, you will be responsible for the hands-on installation of specialist roofing and façade systems across Sydney.
You will work as part of experienced installation teams delivering technically complex projects from fabrication through to final installation and completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Installing architectural metal roofing and wall-cladding systems
- Installing Zinc and Copper cladding systems
- Installing standing seam, interlocking and flat-lock systems
- Installing architectural panels, cassettes, shingles and bespoke metalwork
- Installing flashings, cappings, trims,



penetrations and associated detailing
- Reading and interpreting architectural, fabrication and shop drawings
- Measuring, setting out and accurately positioning cladding components
- Working with complex angles, curves, profiles and architectural geometries
- Ensuring panels and components are installed to precise tolerances
- Working closely with supervisors, project managers and other trades
- Coordinating installation with structural, façade, roofing and building elements
- Identifying potential installation issues before they become construction problems
- Maintaining exceptionally high standards of workmanship and finish
- Completing work in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
- Working at heights and using appropriate access equipment where required

What We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates who have a genuine background in specialist architectural metal cladding.

- Proven experience as a Metal Cladding Installer
- Robust hands-on installation experience
- Experience working from architectural and shop drawings
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to accurately measure, set out and install architectural metal systems
- Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
- Commitment to quality workmanship and finishing standards
- Ability to work effectively within a specialist installation team
- Strong safety awareness
- White Card & Working at Heights
- Ability to work across Sydney-wide projects
- Experience with Zinc, Copper, Aluminium, Brass, Stainless Steel and Titanium Zinc

The Ideal Candidate
If your background is primarily installing standard Colorbond, corrugated or commodity metal roofing, this role may not be the right fit.
The focus here is on specialist architectural metalwork.
You will be working with materials such as Zinc, Copper, Aluminium, Brass, Stainless Steel and Titanium Zinc, installing systems where the finished product is highly visible and forms an important part of the building's architectural design.
Projects can involve complex geometries, bespoke fabrication, detailed interfaces and demanding architectural finishes.
This role would suit an experienced installer who has progressed beyond standard commercial roofing and cladding and wants to work on high-end architectural projects where the quality of the installation genuinely matters.
Candidates from specialist European roofing and metalwork backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
