HD Mechanic | $68 per hour + rent/bills paid for (Earn $150k a year accommodation/bills paid for) | Relocate to the NT

The Role

This is a rare opportunity to relocate to Nhulunbuy in the Northern Territory, with housing, utilities, and relocation costs fully covered by the employer!! Working on a Nhulunbuy mine (local to your apartment) you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing an impressive range of mobile plant and civil equipment.

- Earn $150,000+ per year with no bills
- Up to 30 cubic metres of household furniture relocated at company expense
- One vehicle transported as part of relocation package
- House provided in Nhulunbuy at no cost
- Single candidates provided with fully furnished apartment-style accommodation
- Swing roster when you start to see if it is for you
- Initial roster: 10-hour days, 6 days per week (3:1 roster)




- If it is for you after 3-4 months move to permanent roster
- Permanent roster: 5 days per week, 8.5-hour days (42.5 hours/week)
- Long-term career progression within a major organisation

Key Responsibilities

- Work on a fleet of civil and mining equipment including: excavators, loaders, graders, bobcat, side loader & float
- Diagnose faults, service, maintain and repair mobile plant equipment on the local mine site
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and fault finding
- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Complete breakdown work and scheduled maintenance activities
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to site standards
- Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and site personnel
