About the role

Regal Petroleum Dwellingup Pty Ltd, trading as BP Dwellingup is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our team at our regional service station and roadhouse located at Dwellingup WA 6213.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of fresh breakfast and lunch meals and takeaway food while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and kitchen organisation.

This is a full-time position offering stable employment in a busy and collaborative regional food service environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and cooking a range of breakfast and lunch items to a high standard.

• Checking ingredients and food supplies to ensure freshness, quality and suitability for preparation.

• Checking ingredients and food supplies to ensure freshness and quality.

• Operating ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

• Adjusting cooking temperatures and seasoning during food preparation.

• Portioning food before and after cooking.

• Arranging and presenting food for display and service.

• Storing food appropriately using refrigeration, freezing and temperature-controlled

storage.

• Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements where required.

• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.

• Monitoring food safety procedures and ensuring compliance with hygiene

requirements.

• Assisting with stock control, food ordering and inventory management.

What we’re looking for

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Cook or in a similar commercial food

preparation environment.





• Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality (Cert IV, Diploma or equivalent)

• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation and kitchen operations.

• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

• Commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays where

required.

• Reliable, punctual and committed to producing consistently high-quality food.

• Applicants must be willing to relocate to Dwellingup, WA, or be able to reliably commute to the workplace.

- Competitive salary of $80,000 – $85,000 per annum + Superannuation.

Regal Petroleum Dwellingup Pty Ltd, trading as BP Dwellingup, operates a regional fuel station and roadhouse at Dwellingup, WA 6213 approximately 100 km south of Perth.

The business operates seven days a week from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing fuel, convenience items, freshly prepared meals, coffee and takeaway food to local residents, mining workers, tourists and passing travellers.
