THE ROLE:
Reporting directly to the National Human Resources & Training Manager, the successful candidate will seek a genuine, generalist opportunity to provide hands-on assistance and:
- Facilitate open and positive workplace communication, staff engagement, positive performance and advocacy for the needs of our people and our company
- Identify and monitor quality people for the changing needs of our business, providing constructive and developmental feedback along the way
- Maintain and develop existing HR statistical measures, to provide management with clear and precise analytical tools and systems
- Support and actively promote the decisions and direction of Triple M
Key duties for the role include:
- Performance Development/Management processes: sourcing information, collating, presenting findings and assisting key company stakeholders to receive and consider feedback given in operational settings across the business
- Maintenance of the HR Administration sphere: assistance with requests for leave, file notes, documentations, staff correspondence, monthly staff newsletter, team meeting minutes
- Delivering professional, concise and forward-driven reporting instruments to the company management group. (analytics, investigations, histories,
trending, recommendations for improvement)
- Participation in cross-departmental projects: working with Operations, Production, Technical, Administration, Quality and Training teams
- Support/Advise other HR team members: primarily responsible for Recruitment and Selection, Reporting and HR back-office duties
- Interpreting IR instruments and notifications: relevant to the tools used by the company and also more generally within the IR landscape across Australia
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
1) A relevant qualification or employment history in Human Resources and a minimum of 3-5 years recent and verifiable work experience in a HR generalist role. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, engineering and/or production assignments will be highly regarded.
2) Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience in building open, positive relationships with stakeholders. Candidates with previous experience in employee counselling will be highly regarded - we embrace the Non-Violent Communication model (Dr. Marshall Rosenberg).
3) Display well-developed analytical and reporting skills, with an emphasis on precision, accuracy and concision. Accomplishment in the MS Suite of programs is required, with an emphasis on intermediate MS Excel skills.
4) Be seeking a genuine, generalist opportunity in their next HRO role and display a willingness to embrace the scope of the Human Resources function.
