Vic’s Premium Quality Meat | Sydney

Vic’s Premium Quality Meat is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Purchasing & Supply Officer to support procurement, production planning, inventory and 3PL operations across our growing food manufacturing business.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of suppliers, stock, data and operational outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Manage procurement of packaging, labels, cartons, stickers, consumables and value-add products

- Coordinate production planning for the Vic’s Smallgoods range

- Support the Vic’s Kitchen range from product development through to ongoing production and stock management

- Raise, track and follow up purchase orders to ensure on-time and accurate supply

- Monitor supplier lead times, stock levels and par levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory

- Manage day-to-day coordination with 3PL warehouse partners, including stock movements and reconciliation

- Support demand planning, forecasting and inventory requirements across key product categories

- Work closely with Production, Warehouse, QA, NPD and Marketing on forecasting and supply requirements

- Support supplier relationship management and identify cost and process improvements

- Maintain accurate purchasing, stock and supplier records





- Support the transition of Unit D into 3PL management

- Assist with annual Christmas planning and execution

About you

We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, commercially aware and exceptionally detail focused.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory or production planning

- ERP experience, ideally with Pronto

- Robust Excel skills

- Strong numerical capability and confidence working with large volumes of data

- Experience in forecasting and demand planning

- Strong inventory management and stock control capability

- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy

- Confidence analysing stock levels, lead times, usage trends and purchasing requirements

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Experience working with suppliers, 3PL providers and operational teams

- A proactive approach to identifying issues before they impact production

Experience within the meat industry is preferred, with broader food manufacturing or FMCG experience also highly regarded.
