We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Supervisor to join our Melbourne operation based in Broadmeadows.

This is a key leadership role responsible for coordinating linehaul activities, managing trailer and freight movements, maintaining service standards, and ensuring the safe and efficient flow of freight throughout our network. You will work closely with drivers, contractors, depot teams and supervisors to deliver exceptional operational outcomes.

About the Role

- Reporting to the PM Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Supervising daily linehaul operations and ensuring service commitments are achieved

- Coordinating outbound trailer movements and local trailer requirements

- Monitoring operational performance and proactively resolving service issues

- Leading and supporting drivers, contractors and operational staff

- Ensuring compliance with company policies, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR requirements, obligations and safety procedures

- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service performance

- Assisting with workforce planning, scheduling and operational reporting.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Previous supervisory experience within a transport, freight, logistics or linehaul environment

- Strong understanding of linehaul operations and freight movements

- A current Forklift Licence is preferred but not essential

- Solid knowledge of palletised/caged freight handling and warehouse operations

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities

- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities

- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence

- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office and transport management systems

- A strong commitment to workplace safety and operational compliance.

- Successful completion of a police check and medical assessment (paid for by Allied)

Shift: Monday to Friday, commencing at 2:00pm (finish time as required).
