Sales Closer / Transformation Consultant – Online Fitness Coaching
Casual initially | $45 per hour + commission and bonuses | Remote within Australia | Pathway to full-time
MRF Coaching is an established, fast-growing Australian online fitness coaching company helping busy men shed body fat, build lean muscle and develop a lean physique they can maintain for life.
Our company prides itself on building genuine, strong relationships with our clients and delivering exceptional client outcomes using evidence-based training and nutrition strategies while avoiding toxic gym culture.
We are looking for an exceptional Transformation Consultant to join our team and progressively take ownership of consultations with qualified prospective clients.
This is a serious sales position—but it is not a stereotypical high-pressure closer role.
We believe excellent selling means understanding someone’s situation, determining whether we can genuinely help, clearly explaining the right solution and confidently helping the right person make a decision.
This is one of the first points of contact with a new client and developing strong, trusting relationships during the consultation process is vital.
The opportunity
Our prospective clients come through our content and paid advertising before being nurtured and qualified by our appointment-setting team. You will conduct video consultations with warm inbound prospects who have already expressed interest in coaching and confirmed that they are willing to consider a premium program.
You will initially complete extensive product and methodology training, shadow consultations, participate in role-play and begin with approximately 5–10 live consultations per week once training is completed.
As your capability and our consultation volume grow, the role is expected to progress towards a 30–40-hour week and potentially permanent full-time employment. For an exceptional performer, this role offers the opportunity to help build our sales function and potentially progress into sales leadership as MRF Coaching grows.
What you’ll do
- Conduct structured video consultations with qualified inbound prospects.
- Build genuine rapport and make people comfortable discussing personal goals and challenges.
- Understand each prospect’s training history, body-composition goals, frustrations, motivations and barriers.
- Discuss relevant training, nutrition and sustainable fat-loss concepts credibly.
- Explain the MRF Coaching methodology and service clearly.
- Present the investment and answer questions accurately.
- Address hesitation and objections ethically and confidently.
- Ask suitable prospects to make a clear decision.
- Recognise when the program is not appropriate and act with integrity.
- Own follow-up through approved Instagram DM and email processes using Meta Business Suite.
- Send clear post-consultation summaries where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate,
timely CRM records in Meta Business Suite and our Excel-based tracking system.
- Conduct consultations through Microsoft Teams and participate in regular sales training, role-play and recorded-call review.
- Share useful feedback about lead quality, common objections and the sales process.
Who we’re looking for
You will need demonstrated sales ability. General customer-service experience or a personal interest in fitness, without demonstrated sales capability, will not be sufficient for this position.
You are likely to succeed if you:
- Have proven experience in consultative sales or closing.
- Can provide specific, reference-checkable examples of targets and results you achieved.
- Build trust quickly without sounding scripted or artificial.
- Listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and maintain control of a conversation.
- Are confident discussing money and asking for a decision.
- Can address objections without pressure, manipulation or argument.
- Communicate professionally on video, by email and through direct messages.
- Have strong personal or professional knowledge of training and nutrition.
- Can learn enough technical material to represent an expert fitness organisation credibly.
- Are motivated by measurable performance and comfortable with KPIs.
- Take ownership of follow-up, administration and your pipeline.
- Respond well to direct feedback and detailed call review.
- Are mature, reliable, organised and capable of working independently.
- Are based in Australia and legally entitled to work here.
Experience selling coaching, fitness, health, education or another high-consideration service will be highly regarded. A relevant fitness qualification is advantageous but not mandatory for an otherwise exceptional candidate.
How we sell
We do not use fake scarcity, manufactured urgency, manipulative pain-based tactics or pressure people into unsuitable services.
We also do not confuse ethical selling with passivity. You must be willing to ask direct questions, challenge unhelpful assumptions, discuss investment confidently and ask qualified prospects to enrol.
Performance and integrity are equally important.
Hours and progression
The position will begin at approximately 8–15 paid hours per week, including training, shadowing, role-play, calls, follow-up and CRM work.
Initial availability on Mondays and Fridays, approximately 1:00–5:00 pm AEST, is required. After training, the roster is expected to include Tuesday and Thursday afternoon shifts finishing at 6:30 pm AEST, allowing prospects to book after-work consultations. There may also be an opportunity for a small Saturday shift,
to be agreed with the successful candidate.
Following the initial training period, you will begin with approximately 5–10 live consultations per week, scaling progressively with demonstrated performance and lead volume. The long-term position is expected to reach approximately 30–40 hours per week, with a pathway to permanent full time employment.
Remuneration
- $45 per hour during the initial casual phase.
- $50 commission for every valid client enrolment.
- Monthly performance bonuses of up to $1,000.
- Superannuation and applicable employment entitlements.
- A proposed permanent full-time base of $75,000 plus commission, bonuses and superannuation once the role reaches a consistent full-time workload.
- Indicative mature-role OTE of approximately $100,000–$120,000, subject to supplied consultation volume and individual performance.
Full incentive rules and the assumptions supporting OTE will be provided during the recruitment process.
What we provide
- Warm inbound prospects—no cold calling.
- Established content, paid-advertising and appointment-setting systems.
- Structured product, methodology and consultation training.
- Direct mentoring and consultation shadowing with founder Matt Redman.
- Regular role-play, call review and performance development.
- Access to Microsoft Teams, Meta Business Suite and the other software and systems required for the role.
- A fully remote Australian position.
- The opportunity to help build the sales systems of an established, growing coaching business.
- A genuine pathway to long-term employment and sales leadership for an exceptional performer.
You will need your own reliable computer, internet connection, private workspace and professional-quality headset.
How to apply
Submit your CV and include a cover letter answering these questions:
1. Describe your most relevant consultative sales or closing role. What did you sell, what was the typical investment, and what measurable results did you personally achieve?
2. What do you believe separates excellent consultative selling from high-pressure sales?
3. Tell us about a situation where recommending that someone not purchase your product or service was the right decision.
4. Describe your personal or professional experience with resistance training, nutrition and body composition.
5. Confirm your availability on Mondays and Fridays from approximately 12–4 pm AEST and for Tuesday and Thursday afternoon shifts finishing at 6:30 pm AEST.
Please keep your responses concise. Applications that do not address these questions may not progress.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit a brief video response before interview. Successful candidates will then progress through a structured interview, consultation role-play and reference checks.
Applications close Sunday 30 August 2026. We are aiming for the successful applicant to commence in late September or early October 2026.
