About the Role:
Join a supportive Allied Health team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people across the Riverland and Mallee Coorong region. In this rewarding role, you'll work alongside experienced allied health professionals to help deliver high-quality care and support to patients and clients, while developing your skills in a collaborative and community-focused environment.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Criteria
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
- Ability to work under the supervision of Allied Health Professionals and adapt to changing workplace needs.
- Well-developed organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality, ethical practice, and the role of an Allied Health Assistant.
Desired Criteria
- Relevant health, community or lifestyle qualification, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Experience in an Allied Health Assistant or healthcare setting, including patient manual handling.
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements and safe manual handling practices.
