Laing O’Rourke, with joint venture partner Amentum Australia, will play a central role in supporting Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) to develop and deliver the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard (NPSCY) project at Osborne, South Australia.
We will provide program and construction management services of nuclear related civil infrastructure, site‑wide nuclear licensee development expertise, and nuclear safety leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Project and Functional Leaders from early engagement through to technical completion.
- Lead the development of integrated technical solutions aligned with project execution and delivery.
- Provide strategic technical leadership and advice, keeping client objectives at the forefront.
- Engage specialist and SME networks to strengthen project design and delivery outcomes.
- Act as the technical authority and subject matter expert for the relevant discipline.
- Drive technical reviews, reporting, value engineering and delivery solutions.
About You
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience with minimum 5 years demonstrable experience in site delivery of major projects involving design and construction.
- Degree in technical base subject.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in associated discipline; civils and structures or mechanical, electrical and plumbing or rail systems.
- Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
