We are looking for a safety minded Health & Safety Representative/Labourer to commence on a new project. Working closely with the Site Manager and HSEQ Manager, you will bring your industry knowledge to promote a high standard of safety practices to our existing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities -

- General site labourer and HSR duties include but not limited to:

- Operating a variety of power and hand tools, and plant and equipment





- Clean and prepare construction sites as required for different activities

- Manual handling of loose materials or materials for the works as directed by the Site Manager; maintaining a safe and clean job site by handing materials and storying/removing them properly

- Follow and ensure others follow all safety procedures onsite

- Inducting trades into site procedures through daily inductions via Breadcrumb

- Provide support, coordination and advice of HSE practices, systems and procedures

- Conduct risk assessments, HSE audits and weekly site safety walks/inspections

About You -

- Minimum 4 or more years’ experience as a HSR/Labourer in commercial construction

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Ability to lift heavy equipment

- Professional written and verbal communication skills

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites and mobile device-based apps (Procore and Breadcrumb)

- Tickets in Hoist, EWP, Construction Industry Card (White card), Traffic Management, Forklift

- Cert III in Work Health & Safety as a minimum

- Health and Safety Representative initial OHS Training Course

- Level 3 First Aid
