Tasks & responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, identifying issues accurately and promptly.

- Repair and maintain a variety of vehicles, including cars, 4WDs, and light trucks.





- Lead and take ownership of assigned jobs in the workshop, ensuring quality control and efficiency.

- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.

- Liaise with the service advisor and customers to provide updates on vehicle progress and repairs.

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance, including brake, suspension, and tyre services.

- Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.

- Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices, including new vehicles

Qualifications & experience

- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle) or equivalent.

- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the work.

- Familiarity with a wide range of vehicle makes and models.

- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

- Current valid driver’s license.

- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment and meet deadlines.

- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role (desirable but not essential).
