The Role + Key responsibilities:

Our CQ Operation is requiring an experienced, independent individual for a newly created position - CQ Branch Manager.

You will be responsible to build a high performing team to align with our existing culture, systems, and processes that will define this region for years to come. The position of Branch Manager is responsible for all aspects of safety, performance, resourcing and optimising efficiency with a strong customer focus.

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will serve as the primary operational and client-facing leader, balancing technical SSAN compliance obligations with stakeholder engagement, financial stewardship, and high-performance team development.

- Monitor all site operations, ensuring strict compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and permit conditions.

- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop personnel with a key safety focus

- Oversee the site budget, including expenditure forecasting, cost controls, variance reporting, and approval workflows

- Serve as the primary point of contact for our customers in the region, delivering professional written reports, updates and briefs





- Drive continuous improvement across procedures, productivity, and service quality

- Provide regular executive-level reporting on KPIs and performance.

- Support the Company’s efforts to promote the professional image by ensuring that the company’s buildings, equipment and people are professionally presented at all times

- Responsible for performance management of direct reports through annual performance appraisals, skills/performance gap identification, career development and training plan proposals.

- Lead by example in putting Safety First, demonstrating expected safety behaviours and company standards

Successful Candidates will require:

- An unwavering commitment to safety and compliance

- A current explosives clearance or willingness to obtain along with police checks.

- Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical assessment and drug/alcohol screening regularly.

- Attention to detail

- Experience within the Ammonium Nitrate industry.

- Comfortable with customer engagement and report generation.
