About the role

This full time Experienced Farm Hand position at Explicit Mountain Fairview in Greenmount, QLD 4359, will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our diverse farm. As an integral member of our close-knit team, you will contribute to the ongoing success and growth of our business.

What you'll be doing
Assisting with a wide range of general farm duties, including animal care, crop maintenance, fencing, and equipment operation and maintenance
Participating in the planting of crops
Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity procedures
Collaborating with the farm management team to identify and implement process improvements
Adhering to all relevant workplace health and safety regulations
Proactively identifying and addressing any issues that may arise on the farm ie. fences, water troughs, feeders, etc

What we're looking for
Proven experience as a farm hand (minimum 2 years) or in a similar agricultural role, preferably within the livestock or crop industries
Strong practical skills and the ability to operate farm machinery and equipment
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and maintenance




Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others
A valid driver's licence and the willingness to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions
A passion for sustainable agriculture and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our farming operations
Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Australian citizenship is required for this position
