Housekeeper – The Settlement Hotel

The Settlement Hotel in Cranbourne is seeking a reliable housekeeper to join our team. As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring our properties are immaculately clean and well-presented for incoming guests. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards and providing an exceptional guest experience.

Position: Casual
Location: The Settlement Hotel, Cranbourne
Availability: Weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
Roster: 7-day rotating roster
Hours: Approx. 15+ hours per week (flexibility essential)
Key Responsibilities:
Collect linen and stores from shed prior to daily cleans
Perform cleaning tasks to a high standard between guest stays
Change linens and towels, make beds, and organise rooms accordingly
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and other areas
Restock household supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
Communicate promptly with the management team regarding any maintenance issues or damages

Requirements:




Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, preferably in a hospitality setting or similar role
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Australian working rights

About you:
Previous housekeeping (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication, skilled, friendly, and confident manner
