We are a proud, local, family-owned electrical contracting business based in the Townsville region. We specialise in electrical repairs and maintenance, with a robust focus on controls and automation within the manufacturing and heavy industry sectors.
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a motivated, full time Industrial Electrician to join our close-knit team.
The Role
In this position, you will work across various heavy industrial and manufacturing sites around Townsville. Your day-to-day duties will include:
Working on switchboards and MCC control rooms.
Attending breakdowns and performing fault finding for a variety of plant and machinery.
Installation and maintenance of VSD/Soft starters and control equipment.
Routine preventive maintenance (including Test & Tag, RCD,
and Emergency Stop testing).
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
A current QLD Electrical Licence.
A current manual driver’s licence.
A current QLD Construction Card (White Card).
Current CPR & LVR certifications.
The ability to work cohesively within a team, as well as unsupervised.
Exposure to automation controls and instrumentation is highly desirable, but not essential.
