NDIS Support Worker – Nowra NSW

NITPLANS Care Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to support an NDIS participant in the Nowra area.

About the Participant

The participant lives with a physical disability, chronic pain, mobility limitations, PTSD and anxiety. She uses mobility aids and requires support to maintain independence and access the community safely.

Duties Include:
Community access and social support
Transport to appointments and property inspections
Shopping and errands
Assistance with daily living activities as required
Support with housing-related appointments and advocacy
Encouraging independence and participation in the community
Maintaining accurate progress notes





Essential Requirements:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Driver Licence and reliable insured vehicle
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently

Desirable:
Experience supporting participants with physical disabilities
Experience supporting people with mobility limitations
Understanding of trauma-informed support

Location: Nowra NSW

Employment Type: Casual

Pay: $36.00 – $63.00 per hour
