We are a local milk delivery business currently seeking a reliable and experienced MR Truck Driver for daytime delivery.
The position involves multi-drop deliveries of milk and dairy products to stores around Melbourne metropolitan and surrounding suburbs, so knowledge of the area is a must.
The ideal candidate will possess multi-drop experience, be capable of using a logistic delivery software and have a passion for customer service.
The position is Monday to Friday (early AM start).
Job tasks and responsibilities
Deliver milk and dairy products to various commercial customers.
Perform multi-drop deliveries across scheduled routes.
Load and unload trucks (manual handling required).
Conduct pre-start vehicle checks.
Provide skilled customer service at delivery points ensuring customers are happy with delivery and products.
Completion of paperwork and logistics app.
Skills and experience
Must hold a current MR licence (minimum 1 year experience within a similar role).
Previous experience with multi-drop delivery preferred.
Hold a current forklift licence.
Robust time management and communication skills.
Be physically fit and capable of manual lifting.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent knowledge of Melbourne and Metro areas.
