Dental Receptionist – Part time/Casual

Asquith Dentists is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Dental Receptionist to join our team on a part-time/casual basis.

This position is for 3 days per week – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The role may be particularly suitable for a university student who has consistent availability on these days and is looking for ongoing work in a qualified and supportive environment.

About the Role:

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and skilled experience at the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner
Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
Booking, confirming and managing appointments
Managing the appointment book efficiently
Processing payments and health fund claims
Following up patients regarding appointments and treatment
Responding to emails and general reception enquiries
Supporting the dentists and wider team with general administrative duties




Assisting with the practice’s digital marketing by writing engaging blog posts for the website and creating social media content.
Helping maintain a professional, organised and welcoming front desk

About You:

We are looking for someone who is:
Available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Friendly, confident and comfortable communicating with patients
Reliable, punctual and well organised
Skilled in presentation and communication
Comfortable using computers and learning practice software
Able to multitask and remain organised in a busy environment
Proactive and willing to help the team when required
Looking for a stable, ongoing position
