We are looking for a highly adaptable and business-driven HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business leaders across people-related matters, while helping drive organisational effectiveness, employee engagement, and HR operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Partner closely with business leaders and teams to support organisational and people-related initiatives
Provide practical HR advice and solutions across employee relations, performance management, organisational changes, and workforce planning
Deeply understand business operations and proactively support business growth from HR perspective
Ensure HR practices and employee matters are aligned with the Australian Fair Work Act, as well as employment regulations and HR practices across the US and European markets
Support and drive HR projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives
Operate effectively in a rapid-changing and sometimes ambiguous environment with strong self-management capability
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HRBP or similar HR partnering role
Strong knowledge and practical experience with the Australian Fair Work Act and local employment regulations
Highly flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment
Strong sense of ownership and proactive working style
Able to work independently and quickly adapt in ambiguous or evolving situations
Excellent self-learning capability and growth mindset
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related disciplines
Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience supporting technology, fintech, startup, or high-growth environments
Experience working across regional or global teams is a plus
Experience supporting the USA and European markets, with a solid understanding of local HR best practices
