Key Responsibilities
Interpret and work from landscape and civil construction plans
Perform earthworks and site preparation including grading and excavation
Install concrete elements such as paths, kerbs, and footings
Build retaining walls, edging, fencing, and other landscape structures
Carry out soft landscaping tasks such as turf installation, tree planting, mulching, and soil preparation
Experience with swimming pools is desirable
All areas of pool plumbing
Install irrigation systems and drainage infrastructure
Operate small machinery and tools (e.g., excavators, skid steers, compactors)
Work collaboratively with site teams, subcontractors, and supervisors
Maintain a clean and safe work workplace in compliance with OH&S; regulations
Perform quality checks and report progress to supervisors
Qualifications and Experience
2+ years experience in civil or structural landscaping (preferred)
Certificate III in Landscape Construction (desirable but not essential)
Experience of in ground swimming pool construction (desirable but not essential)
Construction White Card (mandatory)
Relevant plant and machinery tickets (e.g., Excavator, Skid Steer – advantageous)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Valid driver’s licence and own transport
