The Position

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join a structured team to support with end-to-end accounts payable processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in busy and quick-paced environments and takes pride in collaborating with others. While accounts payable expertise underpins this role, its defining feature is the opportunity to act as a trusted senior presence within the team, contributing to operational governance, quality assurance, and the growth of Accounts Payable Officers.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain responsibility for an allocated portfolio of supplier accounts
Review and quality‑check work completed by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and adherence to process
Manage and resolve complex supplier statement reconciliations
Assist management with day‑to‑day operational oversight, including workflow coordination and workload tracking
Monitor progress against KPIs, identifying risks to payment deadlines and escalating where required




Support reporting activities, including reconciliation status, aging, and exception tracking
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a structured, process‑driven environment

Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience in a complex or senior accounts role
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. reconciliations, spreadsheets, tracking)
Reliable, collaborative, and confident operating within established processes
