Role Overview

CASUAL AND PERMANENT PART TIME ROLES BASED ACROSS UNITING SOUTH COAST REGION FACILITIES; FARMBOROUGH, SHELLHARBOUR, GERRINGONG, BERRY, NOWRA. Up to $34.59 per hour + super, penalties, tax advantages and casual loading. The position offers extensive opportunities for both qualified and unqualified carers across our South Coast facilities and can involve up to 76 hours per fortnight.

Key Responsibilities
Provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents, helping them maintain meaning and purpose in their daily lives.
Assist with daily living tasks, including showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and general mobility.
Administer medication and perform simple wound dressings as required.
Support residents in community‑based recreational and social activities.

Qualifications & Skills
Ideally hold a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification.



Non‑qualified candidates may be considered if they are willing to complete the required training.
Previous experience in aged or community care preferred, but a passion for beginning a career in aged care is also welcomed.
Adaptable, empathetic, adaptable and resourceful, with a commitment to living Uniting’s values of compassion, respect, imagination and boldness.
Must be able to transport oneself by car or public transport.
