The role
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver early intervention mental health services to young people aged 12 to 25. Your duties include conducting holistic assessments, developing individualised care plans, providing brief intervention and therapeutic support, and coordinating referrals. You will support young people, families, and carers, ensuring access to culturally protected and recovery-oriented services.
Your role also involves community engagement, stakeholder liaison, and contributing to continuous service improvement.
Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Mental Health Nursing
Current registration/membership relevant to discipline (e.g., AHPRA registration)
Minimum two years’ experience working with young people experiencing mental health or substance use concerns
Robust understanding of youth mental health, trauma-informed practice, and family-inclusive approaches
Current driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle
Clear First Aid, Working with Children, and Police checks
