Geppetto’s Carpentry is seeking a motivated and reliable 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter to join their team. With over 17 years of experience, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and commercial carpentry projects with exceptional attention to detail.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work alongside qualified carpenters and gain practical experience across a variety of projects while completing your formal training.

Key responsibilities include:
Assisting qualified carpenters with daily tasks, site setup, and pack-down
Measuring, cutting, and installing materials under supervision
Safely using hand and power tools
Maintaining clean and organised worksites
Assisting with materials handling, deliveries, and equipment management
Completing training requirements and competency documentation




Demonstrating a skilled attitude and willingness to learn

About You

The ideal candidate will have:
A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
A genuine interest in carpentry and the building industry
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to work effectively within a small team
Good communication skills and the confidence to ask questions
A commitment to completing apprenticeship training and TAFE requirements

Preferred Requirements
Current Driver’s Licence or actively working towards obtaining one
Completion of Year 12 and/or a Pre-Apprenticeship in Carpentry
Ability to travel to various work sites across Perth
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safe work practice.
