About the Company:

Golden Jack Express is an Asian restaurant located at Willows shopping centre, Townsville. Established in 2025,.the restaurant has been striving to offer local customers authentic Asian cuisine and friendly services. Currently it is seeking an experienced Asian Cook to join the team, who will be mainly responsible for preparing high quality Asian cuisine and providing food services to our customers.

Duties and responsibilities:
Measure and assemble ingredients for our menu items
Monitor cooking facilities and equipment
Prepare dishes according to our menu before and during serving time
Ensure excellent presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitised




Maintain accurate food inventories
Check quality of ingredients
Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
Assist in updating and designing our menus regularly
May need to adjust and prepare food according to customers’ dietary requirements

Skills and Experience:
2 years’ work experience in Asian cookery
Related qualifications preferred
Extensive knowledge of Asian culinary arts
Familiar with Food Safety Requirements
Outstanding team work spirit
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
