We’re looking for a practical, reliable and people focused Reception/Office Administrator to be the welcoming face of our shared workspace, Dashworks. This is an office based, hands on role suited to someone who is organised, proactive and happy to roll up their sleeves to keep things running smoothly. No ego, no fuss – just someone who takes pride in doing a job well.
About the role
As the first point of contact for members, guests and visitors, you’ll help maintain a friendly, qualified atmosphere and ensure the space is tidy, functional and well presented. You’ll support meeting room bookings, manage day to day facility needs, assist with general administration, and help build community through small events.
Key responsibilities
Provide front-desk reception and support to members and visitors
Maintain clean, protected and presentable shared spaces
Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist with basic room setup
Handle mail, deliveries and general enquiries
Organise maintenance requests and liaise with contractors
Order supplies and keep kitchens and common areas stocked
Support member onboarding and general administration
Organise small in-house events
Post updates on LinkedIn/social media about events or space availability

You are:
Reliable, organised and able to juggle multiple tasks
Practical and willing to pitch in wherever needed
Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with people
Comfortable with routine tasks as well as the unexpected
Calm under pressure and a natural problem-solver
Proud to take ownership of the space and keep things running smoothly
Willing to undertake first aid and fire safety training
