Our Transport & Infrastructure business is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Pinkenba as a Qualified Mechanical Fitter. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your trade expertise within the civil and transport industry, supporting the maintenance and reliability of heavy vehicles, plant and equipment.

This role will suit someone with strong hands-on experience working with heavy vehicles and mobile plant, who enjoys working in a supportive workshop and field workplace alongside experienced tradespeople.

About the role
Carry out maintenance and repair of heavy road transport vehicles, plant and equipment
Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and preventative maintenance
Support both workshop and field-based operations as required
Participate in safety initiatives including toolbox talks and safety days




Operate and maintain a variety of heavy vehicles and mobile equipment

About you
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience working with heavy vehicles, plant or industrial equipment
Current Driver's Licence
A proactive, can-do attitude with a solid work ethic
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining a safe work setting and contributing to our Zero Harm culture
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
